| ABOUT SOUTHPINE TOUCH |
| Southpine Touch is a family friendly orientated touch football association that runs on Brisbanes North side of the city. We are a not for profit organisation and try to run as one of the cheapest touch football competitions in Brisbane. Southpine Touch conducts two touch competitions per season: The Winter Competition which runs from late January to June, and the Summer Competition that runs from early July to early December. Each competition runs for 18 rounds plus 4 rounds for finals. That is 22 weeks per season of the year. We play a 5 Team Semi Final Round. |
| MONDAY nights mixed only and commence at the following times: 6.20, 7.15, 8.00 and at 8.45pm. All games are a standard two by twenty minute half with a three minute half time break. Teams must have a minimum of two ladies on the field for the duration of the game. You must be Thirteen (13) or older to play touch football at Southpine this is due to insurance cover. Thursday nights is Men's and Ladies comp commence at 6.30, 7.30 and 8.30pm. All games are two by twenty five minute half with five minute half time break. Team Fees are normally $750 per Team for the 22 week season with a $50 discount for early payment. |
| Monday Night Mixed Southpine run four grades in the competition: A GRADE: Is a six-a-side competitive competition. B GRADE: Is a six-a-side competitive competition. C GRADE: Is a seven-a-side competitive competition. D GRADE: Is a seven-a-side social competition for new teams just learning how to play touch or players that like to run slow in old age and still enjoy a game of touch for fun and fitness. So there is a level to suit all types of players. Thursday Night Men's & Ladies is a competitive six-a-side competition. |
| Each season at Southpine Touch is finished off with a GRAND FINAL night. On this night there are Trophy presentations to both Winners and Runners up in each grade as well as Best and Fairest players, best player and Referees. There is also FREE food and drinks for all Teams, players and officals on the night. We look forward to new Teams each season.
